Judith Sellers is a woman in a hurry: "A small window of time and opportunity exists now to save these special places." By which she means the natural treasures of her beloved home state, Colorado, subject of her collaboration with photographer Willard Clay, Colorado Wild: Preserving the Spirit and Beauty of Our Land (Voyageur Press, $35). Sellers is a board member of the Conservancy's Colorado chapter, and some of Clay's most striking photographs depict Conservancy properties, such as the Medano-Zapata Ranch and Aiken Canyon Preserve. Extra incentive: One dollar of the proceeds from each copy will help fund the Conservancy's work in Colorado.
